About

METHODS

I believe that healthy relationships are the foundation to a happy and successful life.  As humans, we are ever changing, and as we move through the stages of life, we are sometimes faced with unexpected challenges.

In my practice, clients and I explore issues with which they are struggling.  I provide helpful tools and strategies by offering my clients a fresh perspective on the issues they may be facing.  Together we explore obstacles that become barriers in a healthy functioning system. In each session, we explore ways to improve communication and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships with others.

Good Faith Estimate

According to the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You will receive detailed information about the cost of your therapist session in the Disclosure Statement you sign at the beginning of therapy. This statement outlines the cost of each session you attend, as well as noting that services are expected to be provided weekly until treatment is terminated. You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an appointment.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
