I work with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship distress, career dissatisfaction, body image issues, financial worries, bereavement and substance abuse.
Together, we will focus on what is going on in your current life, and when it feels helpful, we will examine your past experiences to help us better understand how they are influencing you now. I generally believe that our patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving are partially influenced by our past experiences from childhood to adulthood. The development of these patterns is essential for us; however, difficult relationships or circumstances may have caused us to develop some patterns that keep us from realizing our life goals.
The process of therapy is designed to help you become more aware of your patterns in order to become freer to make choices that better reflect who you truly are in your current life and relationships.
